How long are my personal data retained?

Therefore, to comply with the legal obligations that are incumbent on Marimba Sounds regarding the period of conservation of personal data and taking into account the purposes for which they are intended, the following deadlines will be observed:

  • For registration, login, password recovery and orders - 2 years after the last access;
  • For billing purposes - 10 years after the order date; 
  • For receiving and analyzing your opinions, sending newsletters or other publications that you requested and/or that may be of interest to you - 1 year after the respective communication/solicitation;
  • For analysis and response to your messages, customer support and information requests - 1 year after receiving the request;
  • For operation and management of this website, maintenance of the record of your contact details and commercial purposes - 2 years after the last access;
  • For fraud prevention and information systems security, adaptation, improvement and modification of services, namely by identifying usage trends, or, to determine the effectiveness of promotional campaigns - 2 years after the last access.

Once the maximum retention period is reached, your personal data will be anonymized or destroyed/deleted in a secure manner. Notwithstanding this, when the maximum retention period defined above is coming to an end we will send you a notification with the option to request that we keep your personal data for an additional period, thus preventing its deletion. Should you request to retain your personal data for an additional period, a new retention period will apply with a duration corresponding to the one pre-defined for the processing purposes in question.

May my personal information be disclosed to third parties?
