Right of free termination

In accordance with Decree-Law No. 24/2014 of February 14, as amended by Law No. 47/2012 of July 28 and Decree-Law No. 78/2018 of October 15, and Directive No. 2011/83/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council of October 25, the User has the right to freely terminate the contract within 14 days after receipt of the order, without the need to state any reason, except in cases of products made to his specifications or manifestly customized.

In order to exercise your right of free withdrawal, you must notify Marimba Sounds of your decision to withdraw from the contract by an unequivocal statement sent preferably by email to sounds@marimba.art with your name, address, telephone number and order number.

For the period of free withdrawal to be respected, it is sufficient that the exercise of the right of free withdrawal be demonstrably communicated before the expiration of the withdrawal period.

 

Effects and conditions of free withdrawal

After receiving the order, the User must, within a period of 14 days from the date on which it has communicated its decision to terminate the contract, proceed to its return to the address below, bearing the costs of returning the product. We will not accept returns of products whose reception implies the payment by Marimba Sounds of any charges arising from those (shipping costs / return).

The return of the product must be made to the following address:

When the right of free withdrawal is validly exercised by the User, it will be fully refunded the price paid for the product and the respective costs of delivery, when borne by the same, within 14 days from the date of receipt of the decision to withdraw, provided that the terms of the following paragraph are observed.

The right of resolution and consequent return of products applies exclusively to products that can be returned in the same conditions in which the User received them, not being made returns of products that have signs of use, wear, removed and / or cut labels, or that have any damage resulting from handling by the User.

Upon receipt of the returned product, Marimba Sounds will check its conformity, verifying if it is in the exact conditions in which it was shipped, including all labels and constituent parts/accessories, without showing signs of use or wear, without any damage resulting from handling by the User and with the return form properly completed, if you have opted for this possibility.

Once the aforementioned verification is complete, if there are no circumstances that prevent the product from being accepted for return, and if the return has been made within the period of time foreseen in these Conditions, the return will be accepted and the refund of the price paid and respective delivery costs will be processed, when supported by the User, through the same means of payment used for the original transaction.

If any of the above conditions are not met, the return will be refused and the User will be informed by email to the email address used to place the order, indicating the reasons for rejecting the return. The user has the option to request the return of the product not accepted for return, assuming the costs of reshipment (reshipping costs).

Marimba Sounds reserves the right to withhold a refund until the product is received or you provide proof of return, as well as the right to refuse to refund a returned product that is not in the condition in which it was shipped.

 

Order cancellation

Within 48 hours of placing an order, and if the order has not yet been shipped, the User may cancel the order using the email address sounds@marimba.art.

In this situation, the User will be fully refunded the price paid for the product and respective delivery costs, when supported by the same, within 14 days from the date of receipt of the cancellation communication. As an alternative to cancellation, the User can always proceed to return the product under the conditions and rules of return mentioned above.

 

Exchanges

To make the exchange of products the User should proceed according to the return process described above.
